EveryDay Silk and Everyday Indulgence Ring Slings

Both our EveryDay Silk and EveryDay Indulgence Collection slings are designed to be worn long with a bit of flair.  We find that our standard size (88" long) fits US (women's) sizes S-M-L well; our standard size will be slightly shorter on someone who wears an XL, giving it less flair.  Petite sizing is roughly 8" shorter than our standard size, and is appropriate for women smaller than a women's size Small (US sizing).    If you are  XL or larger or feel that you need our petite sizing, please contact us for custom sizing.  Custom sized slings are not returnable.

Mei Tai Sizing

Unless otherwise noted on our site our Mei Tai's (Asian style baby carrier) are sized as follows:   Our Mei Tai's comfortably fit US (women's) sizes S-M-L-XL. Petites or larger than XL please email for custom sizing. 

Custom Orders

We are happy to make custom silk or brocade slings or Mei Tais if desired.  Custom pricing will be detemined on a case-by-case basis.  All custom orders are final sale and non-refundable.  Payment will be requested up front.  Please contact info@babysosmart.com to talk with us about your custom carrier needs.  Full custom details.

Shipping

Orders will be shipped within 10-14 days of your purchase. If for some reason your order will not be ready to ship within the stated 10-14 days, we will notify you by e-mail and discuss options. We ship orders via USPS Priority Mail. The USPS defines their Priority shipping as a 2-3 day service in the Continental US.  For rush orders (within 48 hours), an additional $15 will be added to your final cost. If you need your sling/carrier sooner than what is described above, please contact us directly at info@babysosmart.com and we will discuss further shipping options and costs required.

Optional Insurance & Tracking may be added at your request/expense, please contact us at info@babysosmart for those options.

Copying and Reverse Engineering

All of our baby carriers, designs, and style of fabrication is unique and special to Baby So Smart, and are therefore copywritten and trademarked. We are the first manufacturer to combine silk and cotton to create our EveryDay Silk collection. We are also the first to design our brocade slings in the manner which we have, making  our EveryDay Indulgence collection extremely unique. If you feel the need to copy our designs or reverse engineer our carriers, we will prosecute to the full extent of the law.

Return Policy

Slings/carriers may be returned for a full refund within ten days of purchase date.  The purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs incurred with the return-- we are not responsible for any costs associated with a return.  Returns may be assessed a $15 restocking fee.   Shipping costs cannot be refunded.   All slings/carriers must be received by Baby So Smart in like-new condition and cannot have been washed, ironed, dry-cleaned, or otherwise altered.   If you are not satisfied with your purchase or did not receive what you believe you ordered, please contact us at info@babysosmart.com and we will work with you to make you a happy customer and satisfied with your purchase. You must be able to submit to us a copy of your invoice to help us confirm your order.

Care & Washing Instructions

All of our ring slings and carriers are machine washable, and may be laundered as follows:  Place sling/carrier in lingerie bag or pillow case, machine wash, gentle cycle, cold water wash, gentle detergent.  Lay flat to dry. Do not dry any of our slings or carriers in the dryer; we find that air drying prolongs the life of your sling or carrier.  Ring slings may be ironed on low iron, silk setting only; all other carriers may be ironed on cotton setting, unless otherwise specified.  May also be dry cleaned.

Babywearing & Breastfeeding Consultations

We are pleased to offer one-on-one babywearing and breastfeeding consultations to help you determine which style of carrier is right for you and your baby, and to help you get breastfeeding off to a good start. 

Currently, we are able to assist you with wearing/fitting for: simple pouches, ring slings, Mei Tais, and wraps, as well as the other Asian styles.  If you do wish to receive assistance with the other Asian styles, please notify us in advance.  Babywearing consultations take approximately one to one and one-half hours and are free for our customers.  If you do not wish to purchase a Baby So Smart sling or carrier, you are still welcome to contact us to schedule a babywearing consultation-- fee is $35, an additional $10 is required if I travel to meet you.   Should the consultation go over the allotted 1 1/2 hrs, this time will be billed to you at a rate of an additional $15/hr, EVEN IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A BABY SO SMART SLING OR MEI TAI.   For more info, contact us at info@babysosmart.com, please type in "Babywearing Consultation" in the subject line. 

Breastfeeding consultations may be done in the privacy of your own home or in my home--I am happy to work with babies/children of any age and any breastfeeding issue.  Initial consultation is 1 1/2 hrs, and is $45.  Additional visits, or for first visit over 1 1/2 hrs., are billed at a rate of $30/hr.  If you require additional breastfeeding supplies-- nipple shields, SNS, etc.-- you are responsible for the costs of those items as well.  For more info or to schedule a breastfeeding consultation, contact us at info@babysosmart.com, please type in "Breastfeeding Consultation" in the subject line.

Payment Options

We currently accept credit and debit card payments via our Google Checkout system as well as personal checks or money orders made payable to Baby So Smart.  Items will be shipped when check has cleared our account.
